Gentle, but not all the time

I climb up the stairs, wheee

Jo Ern has been branded the 'good' kid, which is mainly in comparison with her 2-weeks-older cousin Jensen.  At her birthday celebration recently, my aunt said she was really 'gentle' and feminine.  Well that's coz Jensen was screeching away at the time while Jo Ern was going 'ai yaaa' softly.  But I find she can be quite a handful too.  Especially now when she can move, stand and climb.  And she will cry loudly when prevented from doing what she wants.

Don't wanna SIT in this chair... wanna STAND!

Don't wanna SIT, don't WAAAANT!!

Of course, she got her way eventually... as usual.  Err when should discipline for babies start??

  1. love her dress! i think disciplining should start when they understand what is good and bad.. usually around the terrible two stage! but now i think sean does seem to know when he is doing something naughty, so maybe we should start now?!

  2. haha...Jo Ern's look when she was having a tantrum is classic!
Errr...now officially toddler now. NO more baby title..so green light to discipline her...in your own way.
Iknow..it feels cruel discipling a child at such a young age. I felt that with Ally. For the first 6 months after turning one. But now...no choice la. Whack her on her buttock also no feeling. Stubborn as a donkey.

  3. MC, Jo Ern does know she's not supposed to be doing certain things. But that seems to be when she's especially determined to have her way!

Leona, well she's not a toddler coz cannot walk. So she must still be a baby! Haha. Excuses excuses...
